On the morning of June 23rd, 2025 "Discover at HUST" AI Robot International Summer School，hosted by MSE, held an orientation briefing session in the academic lecture hall. Ms. Wu Siqi, the international student counselor, presided over the orientation and provided a detailed introduction to various aspects of the summer school, including the course schedule, practical sessions, and logistical support. Vice Dean Mr. Zhang Shaohao attended the orientation.
In the afternoon, the teachers from the summer school working group led the international students on a tour of HUST History Museum and the Mechanical Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center in the East Building No. 1.
It is reported that the enrollment for 2025 "Discover at HUST" AI Robot International Summer School has been incredibly popular since its launch. Ultimately, 109 outstanding international students from 25 universities, including RWTH Aachen University in Germany, Birmingham University in the UK, the National Higher School of Electronics and its Applications of France, and the National University of Singapore, representing more than 20 countries, such as Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Hungary, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, and so on, have enthusiastically participated. In the coming month, international students will study and exchange in MSE. Through course lectures, practical innovation training, visits to enterprises/laboratories, humanities courses, and other activities, they will explore the mysteries of artificial intelligence and robotics and appreciate the profound Chinese culture.
