At the invitation of Dassault Systèmes, a globally renowned industrial software company, Associate Professor Xia Zhaohui from MSE visited Vélizy, Paris, France, on July 1–2 to attend the 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Summit 2025 held at the company's global headquarters. With the theme “Bringing Education and Industry Together,” the summit brought together more than 60 educators from 47 universities around the world to engage in in-depth discussions on the digital transformation of engineering education and future pathways for industry-academia integration.
During the event, Associate Professor Xia participated in thematic discussions on the integrated application of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in engineering education, including sessions on artificial intelligence, CATIA, and MODSIM modeling and simulation. He also shared MSE’s experience in curriculum reform, digital teaching transformation, and the integration of industry and education, highlighting efforts and practices in talent cultivation.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity for MSE to gain insights into developments in international engineering education, teaching models, and cooperation trends. Through in-depth exchanges with representatives from universities and enterprises both in China and abroad, it also offered useful references for our future exploration in digital engineering education and international collaboration.
